Abstract
This study explores the impact of integrating Seerah teachings into the curriculum of daycare centers to foster moral and personality development among children. Recognizing children as blessings of Allah, Seerah teachings offer a profound source of guidance that embodies principles and virtues pivotal for nurturing young minds. Despite the acknowledged duty of parents and daycare centers in guiding children rightly, there is a notable gap in the actual implementation of these teachings within daycare settings. This research underscores the need for specific legislative and structural reforms in daycare centers that align with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to ensure the effective Tarbiyah (education and upbringing) of children. Through a combination of surveys and interviews conducted in various daycare centers, the study identifies a prevalent deficiency in the integration of Islamic values, specifically those derived from Seerah. The findings advocate for an enhanced infrastructure that supports the inclusion of Seerah teachings, which are instrumental in promoting kindness, empathy, and ethical conduct among children. The implementation of such teachings not only addresses the immediate educational needs but also contributes to the holistic development of children, ensuring they grow up with a strong moral compass. This approach not only assists in fulfilling parental responsibilities but also supports women in the workforce by providing a nurturing environment for their children, thereby fostering a more equitable and empowering landscape for all.
