Abstract
Industrial revolution in World led to spread air pollution in form of factory smoke, and has raised
the issue of social relief. Since the industrial revolution, air pollution has been a major problem
that affected the World with serious social or global threats. Air pollution is a mixture of natural
and manmade substances in the air we breathe. Different causes like rapid industrialization,
automobiles, domestic fuels, high proportion of undesirable gases are major cause of air pollution, which have different effects including health of humans and animals, ecosystem, and
the atmosphere as whole.
I am inspired with the industrial zones that are mostly neglected by the people because of its
polluted and tangled structures. It is considered like hell area where it is situated. The idea
behind my theme can be converted in the beautiful place of living and working (by enhancing
and giving value to this global issues of the community, living inside or around the industrial
circles). The main focus is to design (catalytic clothing) for the ecofriendly World. As a Fashion designer, I am going to design ecofriendly fashion collection with titanium dioxide finish that can help in reducing the NOx air pollutant from air. The garments cut lines are multifunctional that can be used to cover face in polluted area and can be wear down in clean air zones. My fashion collection is the mixture of filtered air that create by the industries and other sources in an ecofriendly manner. Simply “what we wear will change the way we live” Air pollution is a major social or global issue of the World. Air pollution kills an estimated seven million people worldwide every year. Science is using different technologies like cyclones, scrubbers, electrostatic precipitators, bag house filters, control of gases, absorption and titanium dioxide finishes etc. to reduce this global issue. We can also reduce this issue by treating the effluent before discharge, the coating of the outer structures with ecofriendly chemicals like titanium dioxide to reduce the air pollution, to reduce the number of trips you take in your car, to eliminate fireplace and wood stove use, avoid burning leaves, trash, and other materials avoid using gas-powered lawn and garden equipment.
I want to show the fusion of industrial zones by the ecofriendly way that why I use the materials
that are related to the industrial structures for the surface design and colors are inspired by the
smoke of industries. I targeted the winter season because of the high creation of smog (mixture
of smoke and fog). Main Materials for collection are industrial pipes, tires, boiler shape armature, metal mesh net, polyester threads for smoke, Metal hanging pipes, plastic, dusty threads in weaving, Imagination of air pollutant with tie and dye, Oil painting to show the industrial zones, Smoky fabric manipulation with tie and dye, Laser cutting with layering Metal Eyelet with passing metal pipes, pigment printing with titanium dioxide finishes etc.
