Ever since the beginning of aviation, human has caused errors which resulted in crucial catastrophic accidents. Most of the time, aircraft design and functionality contributed to these accidents. Whenever a new aircraft is introduced to the aviation industry, the operational manuals are altered thus requires training, this generates a lot of workload for the pilots (Lee, 2010). Moreover, human factors have contributed to about 80% of the accidents and post-investigations research revealed that most of the accidents were caused due to “pilot error”. Multiple theories help in understanding the human factors more clearly and also the factors that affect the pilot’s capabilities. This project comprises all the attributes that contribute to the careless attitudes of the pilot’s and also highlighting the major accidents that occurred due to these hindrances.
