Abstract
Leadership is a must need of all the segments of society. May it be a home, tribe, business office, organization private or public, political party or national government, it can’t function without leadership. Leadership always exists; however, it is not necessarily good and effective. In this chapter first we will look in to literal and conceptual meanings of leader & leadership and then their importance, traits, characteristics and related theories in brief.
