dc.description.abstractThis study aims to find the issue of safety and reliability of public transport for women and data is gathered via convenience sampling from travelers from Lahore. To make the research methodology for this review, the research onion strategy will be used by conducting interviews and surveys with women who travel on public transport. The purpose of this research is to understand whether or not public transport is generally safe to use for women and the factors which affect how likely they are to face verbal and physical harassment or even assault when using these services. The finding of this study females have faced issues of harassment and they are not know how of technology like helpline safety apps and online awareness. Therefore it is recommended that while governments and legislators have a high degree of responsibility when it comes to ensuring that women can travel safely on public transport, the companies which oversee these services have several responsibilities as well. The goals of public transportation should not be aimed at increasing profitability or competing with other modes of transportation but rather to ensure that the services they provide are safe for use by all segments of society.
