| dc.description.abstract | There has been an increase in rate of bird strike at Lahore airport. For this a study was carried out in the vicinity of Allama Iqbal International airport Lahore. Study was carried to know that are those people living around AIIAP are aware that birds are dangerous towards the safety of airport. And how they dispose of their garbage properly and do they feed birds because these factors are major attract for the presence of birds at AIIAP. For this quantitative research was conducted in areas surrounding AIIAP LHE with the help of questionnaire. Stratified sampling method was used in targeting population for this study. It was found that people are aware towards danger of birds for Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore. However due to no organized garbage disposal system in 3 out of 4 localities studied, their garbage could be one of the contributing factor in increased birds activity around AIIAP LHE. | |
