dc.description.abstractThis study was conducted to explore the relationship between Online Game Addiction, Dark Triad (sub-clinical psychopathy, machiavellianism, sub-clinical narcissism) as a mediator and aggression(physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger, hostility and indirect aggression). The research design for this study was cross-sectional and co relational. There were 400 participants (Male=197, Female=204) age range from 14 to 25 (M=19.2, SD=3.2). Game addiction, dark triad (Machiavellianism, sub-clinical psychopathy and sub-clinical narcissism) and aggression (physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger, hostility and indirect aggression) were found to be positively correlated. Game addiction also positively predicted dark triad (Machiavellianism, sub-clinical psychopathy and sub-clinical narcissism) and all dimensions of aggression.Machiavellianism and sub-clinical psychopathy positively predicted aggression; sub-clinical narcissism didn’t predict any kind of aggression. Dark triad (Machiavellianism, sub-clinical narcissism and sub-clinical psychopathy) partially mediated the relationship between game addiction and all dimensions of aggression. These indigenous findings of the study will also contribute in the field of clinical psychology, counselling psychology, gender psychology and personality psychologyen_US
