Abstract
This thesis investigates the students' academic performance. The objective of this study is to explore the connection between academic performance and two independent variables, namely classroom environment and teaching methodology, within the University of Management and Technology. Research data were collected through random sampling approach and the sample consisted 379 students in UMT. The data were interpreted using SPSS (statistical package for social sciences). The findings underscore significant correlations between classroom environment, teaching methodology, and academic performance. Positive classroom environments and effective teaching methods were associated with improved academic outcomes. Students' perceptions of their learning surroundings and instructional approaches were closely linked to their overall academic performance. This research holds critical implications for refining future educational practices. The insights gained can inform educators and institutions in crafting conducive learning environments and impactful instructional strategies. Understanding the dynamics between classroom atmosphere, teaching methodologies, and academic success can guide pedagogical approaches and curriculum design. By fostering positive classroom experiences and employing effective teaching techniques, educators can contribute to heightened student achievements and overall learning quality.
