The four universities were randomly selected from the list of all private universities in Lahore. Independent t test revealed that there is significant difference based on gender in student readiness for online learning. The results revealed that students showed readiness for online learning on all the five dimensions of ORLS: Computer or Internet Self Efficacy, Motivation for Learning, Online Communication Self Efficacy, Learning Control and Self Directed Learning. The students scored higher on the first three dimensions - Computer or Internet Self Efficacy, Motivation for Learning, Online Communication Self Efficacy – and the score was lower for Learning Control and Self Directed Learning.en_US
