Abstract
This research aims to explore the radical notion that women are people in Sana Munir’s Unfettered Wings. Sana Munir in her collection of short stories portrays the picture of Pakistani society in which women are subjugated yet she gave the notion that women in the society not only supposed to be fragile and weak but they can be brave and resistant who fight against the society and tends on the idea that they are people. Furthermore, the research would be descriptive as well as textual type. Though, in this research justification would be provided semantically and through primary and secondary sources. Moreover, the resistance theory by Manuel Castells would be applied on the research as women by going through different traumas become brave and resistant to flushed out the dominant authorities. This study focuses on the motif that how women from different walks of life survived in an extraordinary environment where they are the victims of violence and oppression.
