Abstract
In our project we will design a smart security lock. When the user flash out the ID card in front of the barcode reader, barcode reader read the barcode and sends it to microcontroller. From microcontroller barcode is send to main server through RF. In main server barcode is match which with the main excel file and if verified then massage is send back to microcontroller through RF to send the security password. The microcontroller displays the massage on LCD and asks the user to enter the password on num pad. When the user enters the password, microcontroller sends it to the main server again through RF to verify the password. If the password the password is verified then server sends the message to microcontroller to open the lock. If the password is wrong then the server sends massage to microcontroller to ring the bell. When the microcontroller receives the yes massage the lock is open.This security lock provides efficient and foolproof security to the building.
