Abstract
Today automation is used in all industrial applications such as separation, handling and recycling the material in various industries and sort the material to save time, cost and labor. Effective recycling relies on effective sorting. Effective sorting can be achieved by automation of the process of manual hand picking of waste material and replace it with a fully automatic waste sorting machine to separate as much useful waste as possible and deal with it in the most appropriate and efficient manner. Our aim from this project is to resolve all the above state problems using the following Electrical and Mechanical components in continuous manner in short time therefore we use the latest technology like proximity sensor, motor, and PLC. All these components are operating at DC voltages except PLC operated at AC voltages. This project is specified for separation of metal, wood and glass. After the process starts separation take place first wood separate then metal and then glass. Focus on this material which has to be separated is because of their uses. Wood is use in burning, metal is an expensive material and use again after reforming, as glass is also use after remolding. VI
