Abstract
This paper focuses on the topic that is highly relevant all over the world, namely students’ emotional stability and its influence on their achievements and lives. The impact of sports and motivational activities on students’ emotional stability in Pakistani universities is the quantitative subject of this thesis. It covers issues related to students’ emotional stability and socioeconomic status and the contemporary and emerging health threats such as COVID-19. Literature emphasizes the role of physical activity (PA) in mitigating mental health issues such as depression and adheres to international PA guidelines. This research addresses two primary questions: (1) what is the relationship between physical activities and student emotional stability in Pakistani universities? To what extent motivational activities are related to the student emotional stability in different universities in Pakistan? A quantitative study conducted in Lahore, Pakistan, involves the use of questionnaires to gather information on the level of students’ participation and perceived health outcomes of these activities. The goal of the research is to establish relationships between physical and motivational activities and students’ emotional stability to make recommendations for the improvement of students’ quality of life. The practical implications include the encouragement of supportive environment and programmes to enhance physical activity and positive motivational interventions within learning institutions, policy makers. Finally, this research aims at improving the health status of students in Pakistan and other countries
