Abstract
The purpose of the study was to find out the relationship between impulsivity self-confidence and procrastination in university students. Stratified sampling was used for conducting this study. Data collection was done from 200 male and female University Students in which 18-25 years old students participated. Scales which used for data collection were the Temperament Scale for University Students (Kazmi & Mehmood,
2018), the Self-Esteem Scale for University Students (Mehmood et al., 2012) and Student Procrastination Scale (Mehmood & Sara, 2015). Findings indicated that there was a positive relationship between impulsivity and procrastination whereas there was a negative relationship between self-confidence and procrastination. There was no significant gender, age, family and semester difference between impulsivity self-confidence, and procrastination. The study implied that it can help teachers of university to arrange workshops to reduce the level of impulsivity and increase the level of self-confidence in students. The study would benefit the administration of the university by working on the positive factors of these variables.
