Abstract
As the learning trend of education is changing throughout the world. Institute of
Aviation Studies (University of Management and Technology) is shifting its
Content-Based Learning (CBL) to Activity-Based Learning (ABL) for a clear
understanding of specific topics and the actual workplace problem in a specified
field. In this study, the whole course of Airport Management has been redesigned
from the CBL method into ABL. Activities have been developed from the eleven
chapters of the book (Airport Planning and Management sixth edition by Seth B.
Young and Alexander T Wells). The study is significantly focusing on student
engagement in the class, increases in performance of problem-solving, clear the
tricky concepts, improves attitude toward studies, and higher the student success
rate especially for the low achievers.
