dc.description.abstractThis report covers the background research, design approach, and hardware testing of the design of a Quad Copter capable of Autonomous Flight. Our goal was to develop an Autonomous Quadcopter capable of ascending to a certain height, achieving a stable hovering motion, and then descending back to ground level. This project focused on the study of a Quadcopter helicopter, its theory of flight, its mechanical design, its electronic design, and ultimately, its hardware implementation. Since this project is the first of its kind, the hardware was totally experimental; hence it's open to additional features for groups willing to undertake this project as their final year project.en_US
