Abstract
In Pakistan, the judiciary has failed many times through history by its landmark decisions
to uphold its supremacy in deciding cases under the sole interpretation of the
Constitution, rule of law and principles of justice. This practice has challenged the
independence of the judiciary and has eaten away the institution's self-confidence.
Technical measures and legislative reforms can revive the role of justice
