| dc.description.abstract | The objective of this study was to explore the factors of delays in Dawood wind power project by Descon engineering. This study was based on qualitative research. The data for this research was collected through semi structured interview that was conducted with the employees of Descon who were actively involved in this project. The respondents were interviewed individually and after that software NVIVO 12 was used to analyze the data and find out the factors of delays. The themes and dimensions were created and with the help of it correlations were made between these themes and dimensions. Three main themes were found (1) logistical issues, (2) lack of staff experience and essential certification and (3) uncontrollable factors.
