The data was collected from three to four schools in Lahore through stratified random sampling. The total sample was 300 students in which equal number of boys and girls were selected, furthermore stratum was made to collect data from equal number of participants. Three scales were used to collect data from the participants (i) Helicopter Parenting Scale (PHP) (Kshaf & Khurshid, 2020), (ii) Resilience Scale for Adolescents (RSC) (Rashid & Saleem, 2010), (iii) School Children Problem Scale (SCPS) (Mahmood & Saleem, 2011). The Pearson correlation analysis revealed that helicopter parenting has significant positive relation with emotional behavioral problems. Dominance and control; a factor of helicopter parenting has a negative relation with resilience. Moreover, emotional behavioral problems and resilience are negatively related. Linear Regression analysis revealed that class, gender, helicopter parenting-mother are the significant predictors of emotional behavioral problems whereas, resilience is the significant negative predictor. T-Test revealed that boys face more helicopter parenting. Girls face more emotional behavioral problems. Similarly, late adolescents face more emotional behavioral problems than early adolescents. Findings of ANOVA revealed that adolescents face emotional behavioral problems most. Following by, adolescents of fathers with undergraduate level of education face the emotional behavioral problems the most. The research is helpful from collectivistic cultural point of view.
