Abstract
Research investigates the relationship between corruption, unemployment, and poverty in Lahore, Pakistan. The study employed a quantitative approach, collecting data from 384 households through online surveys. Utilizing SPSS for analysis, the study found significant relationships between corruption, unemployment, and poverty. The research objectives focused on examining the impact of political and economic factors on poverty, the relationship between unemployment and poverty, and the correlation between corruption and poverty. The hypotheses were tested and supported, confirming a substantial link between corruption and poverty, as well as between unemployment and poverty. The findings emphasize the urgency of addressing corruption and unemployment to alleviate poverty. Future recommendations highlight strengthening anti-corruption measures, promoting inclusive governance, empowering youth through education and skills development, encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation, enhancing social protection systems, promoting sustainable economic growth, enhancing financial inclusion, strengthening public-private partnerships, investing in rural development, and engaging in international cooperation. By implementing these recommendations, the study predicts a more equitable society with effective poverty reduction strategies and sustainable development.
