Abstract
The study aims to explain the role played by Print [English] media in portraying the threats of terrorism before APS attack in order to respond to Operation Zarb-e-Azb carried out by Pakistan Army. The study also portrays the role of Print media in creating awareness about the threats caused by TTP after APS attack, the influence of media on people and the possible solutions to get rid of the problem at hand. The major source of conducting the research data is the print media including leading english dailies with the likes of Dawn and Express Tribune. The data is collected from very authentic sources with all due care while analyzing it. The study revolves around three major questions which are addressed in detail: How print media portrayed the threats caused by TTP before the APS attack, after APS attack and possible solutions offered by various media outlets. During the study, it has been observed that the security situation in Pakistan is in jeopardy, and it needs some serious appraisals. The political instability, role conflicts between institutes and institutional crisis contribute a lot against Pakistan.
