Abstract
Our daily life is generally vocal, but body language has its own significance, like hand gestures, facial expressions and sometimes they play an important role in conveying the information. Sign language would be an ideal option for expressing the feelings, or in order to convey something, like representing a number. It has many areas of application like sign languages are used for various purposes and in case of people who are deaf and dumb, sign language plays an important role. Gestures are the very first form of communication. So this area influenced us very much to carry on the further work to implement a sign language learning system. Sign language can be useful in minimizing the communication gap between hearing impaired and the normal people. Normal people are usually unaware of sign language grammars; it is very difficult for them to understand what a hearing impaired person is trying to communicate. As a result, communication of a hearing impaired person is usually limited only within the family or his/her deaf community. Our goal is to provide a platform for normal and hearing impaired persons; where they can learn the sign communication. Hearing impaired person would be able to train him by following the lessons provided by the sign system he/she is following e.g. ISL, ASL, ArSL and BSL. A normal person e.g. mother or father of the child can also start learning. Our website will provide learning to both normal and deaf/dumb of different region trying to learn different signs communication at one platform named “Hearing impaired solutions”.
