Abstract
Marital Rape is one of the rarely reported criminal offense in south Asian countries like
Pakistan. This research inquired about the possible causes behind this phenomenon. It also
investigated the psychological consequences of marital rape. In addition, the research also
highlighted the laws present in Pakistan to curb crime, and whether those laws really help.
