Abstract
The Final Year Project “EZ Park” is a mobile application that aims to address
the issues of parking in rapidly developed areas in Pakistan. The upward trend
in vehicle population, as well as urbanization, has made parking spaces harder to
find. EZ Park, aims at making it simple for people to locate parking lots using a
user-friendly interface. It is possible for either those who want to rent out their
parking spaces or those looking for them to register through this app. With this
app, users will be able to easily identify free parking slots nearest them, hence
easing the process of finding a place where they can park. In addition, one of EZ
Park’s major advantages is its smart geolocation feature that lets individuals see
and book locations on maps where they can park vehicles. Thus, it would lead
to improved efficiency in utilizing parking lots and enable people find suitable
places where they can park thus reducing traffic congestion thereby enhancing
urban mobility. Furthermore, EZ Park creates an avenue for property owners
to effectively let out and manage their car parks hence giving them insight into
parking management economics. At last, EZ Park looks forward to eventually
making Pakistani cities smarter as well as improving the quality of life in such
urban areas by providing a comprehensive answer that is also user friendly
concerning this big problem with parking lots.
