Item STUDYING INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP STYLE OF PRINCIPALS AT PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN LAHORE, PAKISTAN(umt.lahore, 2021) Amna Fatima; Kainat SammarPrivate schools are facing significant number of issues in accomplishing objectives. It is well recognized the major issue is of effective eligible leadership. This paper aims to determine how effective the role of instructional leadership in enhancing the growth of institutions is. Different factors especially climate, epidemic, and economic health of people effects the educational standards of the people. To figure out the extent of the Instructional Leadership Style of the Principals of Private Schools in Lahore, Pakistan, a questionnaire was developed and filled by senior teachers and principals of the institute. A total of twenty-nine individuals were target in the surroundings of Lahore, out of which fourteen were principals whereas fifteen were senior teachers. The results portrayed great importance to the role of leader i.e., Principal, for enhance the reputation of an institute, better services for both students and employees producing better academic results along with enhancement in the revenues generated by schools. On the basis of the results generated by the input given by the senior teachers and principals themselves there is a dire need for an effective leader, Principal to run the operations of the school effectively through better planning, forecasting, strict evaluation, and implementation.
