(UMT, Lahore, 2020) Syed Hassan Waqar
Globalization has extended the challenges of Government of Pakistan in phrases of service delivery of education to its each and every citizen due to technological and economic developments. Education is appreciably believed to be essential for any nation’s economic, political, and social development. For over a decade in Pakistan, public private partnership have been promoted as a key approach for increasing efficiency, generating resources and improving the quality of education services delivery, specifically to the poor. Public Private Partnership’s initiatives in education seem to promise a way to deal with educational challenges and meet worldwide commitments. There are sufficient empirical evidences to support the idea that Public Private Partnership in schools under Punjab Education Foundation project have not been experiencing an expanding trend on different indicators like quality of students’ learning and outputs, enrolments of students, and parent dissatisfaction, etc.
