The siuwey about the customer satisfaction, that I conducted while working in the company states that all the customers of the company are very much satisfied with the performance of the company. 50% of the customers of DOS are dealing with them for 1 to 3 years. More than 60% are availing all the services. 50% customers are under one year contract otheis are under 2 to three years. 50% of the customers rate the product delivery services as excellent and 70% of them think that DOS's complaint handling is excellent. 80% of the customers have been given after sale services and the same percentage thinks of the behavior of the staff as excellent. All the customers are satisfied with the charges receives by the company. The results of the survey for the retailer satisfaction of the company are very much in favor of the company. 80% of the retailers are dealing with DOS for 1 to 5 years and the company itself contacted all the retailers. 100% of the retailers are satisfied with the product delivery, technology and the replacement of the unsatisfactory goods. 60% of the retailers are buying all the accessories offered by the company and think of the behavior of DOS staff as excellent. 80% of the retailers think of the market reputation of the company as very good. All the retailers of DOS h^e recommended this company as their supplier for the next year. All this concludes that all the customers and the retailers of the company are fully satisfied with the company. I have also prepared a marketing plan for the company. Its objectives are, 25% increase in sales, increase in gross margin and maintaining it and 25% increase in the sale of services, by the next year. My recommendations for the company are, to open a big office in defense and start selling computers and services to individuals. Apply all the marketing techniques mentioned in the marketing plan. Start its own chain of shops through out the country.Item Internship Report on Khalld Nazir Spinning Mills Limited(UMT, Lahore, 2002) Amir MaqboolThis internship report is on "Khalid Nazir Spinning Mills Limited" who deals in manufacturing of yam in 16's, 20's, 24's, and 30's counts. All are available in both forms carded and combed. The company produces 100 % cotton yam and a blend of 52:48. Company is enjoying a good financial position. Annual tum over is more than 100 million US dollars. Khalid Nazir Spinning Mills is registered member of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA). It has a good reputation in the local market. Although it is new in the intemational markets but it is introducing itself as quality conscious, punctual and competitive. There are four management departments and seven production departments. I spent most of my time during intemship in management departments and made a few visits to the factory, which is located in Kamooki. I observed that company is relying on its current contacts abroad for capturing intemational market. It is not making professional efforts for getting hold on intemational market. Company is more focused on local market. There are no official visits to intemational exhibition where company can get new customers. In export department I found that most of the work is done by the assistant and junior assistant. I would recommend them to make marketing efforts instead of working in traditional style. They need to explore more markets instead of relying on current contacts, which are reducing gradually due to increasing competition in the intemational market.
