It assigns the grades to the students that are assigned manually, before. It is highly intelligent by itself, it works as an advisor in registering the courses. Its sensitive queries have made it one of its fastest kinds of online system. The AER software is controlled by passwords for different groups of users and the administrator can define new users, which expands this software's security.Item Web Doctor(UMT Lahore, 2000) Muhammad Majid Ali; Muhammad Rizwan Khadim; Firdous Ahmad; Maqsood AhmadWeb Doctor provides medical health services and doctor consultation through Internet for patients. Web Doctor provides medical facilities for the patient to consult the doctor in short time. Patient provides information regarding the symptoms of his diseases, and the doctor gives advice to the patient through the Web Doctor according to his diseases. By website, it is possible for the doctors to diagnose the diseases of the patient and prescribe the medicine to him. The patient gets the prescription from the doctor after his advice. In short, Web Doctor diagnoses the patient after consultation from the doctor, and also recommends some test to the patient before diagnoses him, if necessary. Web Doctor manages a secure interaction between doctor and patient through E-mail. The benefit is that, from sitting at remote locations such as in rural areas, a patient can consult the doctor anywhere in Pakistan or abroad without seeing him.Item ILM Online(UMT Lahore, 2000) Zaheen Fatima; Muhammad FawadILM Online has been developed for Institute of Leadership and Management. All queries and urgent matters can be handled via Internet for fast and direct interaction with the person in charge of that particular matter in ILM's management. E-commerce is the online business term generally. Businesses are the fastest growing segment of the Internet because you can communicate, gather information and actually transact businesses. The process in the manual auction houses is very slow and lazy which sometimes pinched the clients whether customers or sellers due to much time consumption with zero output. We took this project as a mere challenge and we had six months to complete it. The system has been made with great care and thought by keeping in mind all the functional requirements of a user that he could demand while reading and shopping online books. The interface is made live with the hyperlinks of all pages for quick surfing. The user input screens are made quite colorful giving a good impression to its user. Now today the world has become a global village and it is all possible through the Internet and the e-commerce is getting great importance in business world. This project relates to a web site for a computer related center, where every shop will have its own login name from where they will provide information regarding their products to their customers. In short the user simply log's on our website and their he will be having two areas to go to. One is the member area where he will have to give the valid user name along with the correct password. If his password is found correct, only then he will be permitted to enter the member area where he will be able to update, add, modify and delete shop record and change his personal profile etc. Now if the user is not a member then he will enter the computer world in other words he will enter the area where he will find all the shops that are present in that specific computer center for which this software is being developed. From here he (the user) can go to the shop list where he will find the lists of all the shops that registered with us. He (the user) can also search the specific brands like for example Acer, Sony, Creative, and Philips etc. Also the user can go to the search area where he can search the name of some specific hard ware or perhaps information regarding the newly arrived hardware. The user is also given the facility of e-mailing from where he can contact us for any kind of assistance and help. In short word, a whole computer related center is made online so that the customer can get all the information that he need before he go for his purchase without going to the computer center. As now he will be able to get all this information plus much on in his room. The shop owners will also be benefited from this project as they will now be able to represent their shops specially their products and special offers to then customers via Internet. If any student in the future will be willing to do some enhancements in the system or will be willing to do some related work, he can get every possible help by this documentation.Item FIN-Doc (document reference & financial system)(UMT Lahore, 2000) MUHAMMAD JAWADThis software project will help the user to enter the financial entry. The non-programmer user can also handler this software easily, because software has GUI (Graphical user Interface) interaction. Software has basically two modules one for Document Reference System and other one for Financial System. The later one helps the site co-ordinator and project accountant to enter their daily financial commitments. Instead of getting report at the end of month he can get analyticals report on daily basis. The prior one help the Country office staff to share the document with each other, for ease of user software auto-generate a reference number. With the relevancy of the head no. FIN-Doc also gives the accessories of a simple word-processor. Which was the demand of organization. Till yet software support only RTF format documents. These type of files can easily read and write by using the software module "Document Reference" system. Analytical report will be generated with the help of third party tool "Oracle Discoverer". Because every personnel in organization has its own need for analytical reprots. So we can not specify the pre-define format for reports. User can retrieve data by using Discoverer they only need to use User Edition of this software.
