Total 17 respondents were selected for present study. Data was collected by FGD (focus group discussion) session and in-depth interviews, and was analysed by thematic analysis. Findings of existing study revealed that administration, teacher and students of institute are three responsible components of class participation according to students’ interpretations. If teacher set restrictions in class instead of completely freehand, act friendly, politely, organize class activities, give accurate feedback, and answer to students’ questions instead of discourteous and non-supportive, rude behaviour then class participation will enhance. If Students’ courteously engage in class activities, correctly respond to teachers’ question instead of idleness, come after reading the pre-lecture material, and support other fellows to participate instead of criticizing then class participation will enhance. If administration provides and maintain needed apparatus and technological equipment, handle students’ and teachers’ issues instead of carelessness, admit limited students for one class instead of large class size, hire faculty on the base of merit instead of nepotism, reference, then class participation will enhance. If these three components play their role effectively then class participation enhances. If any one component by these three fails to contribute properly then class participation decreases.
