    Explore the factors behind the dropout Of students at elementary level: A Study of public institutions

    This research has carried out the analysis of poor children dropout at primary school education. Rural communities are more backward particularly in Pindi Bhattian, Dist. Hafizabad where the dropout rate is high. Data is collected from 20 primary schools by the use of random sampling and for purposive sampling; six (6) respondents were nominated in each and every school. There are a number of specific reasons for students being dropout at elementary schools. This study has investigated the major problems and factors of dropout in Pakistan at primary levels, which includes; poverty, distance from homes to school is large, very costly education, teacher’s role, non-availability of services, unnecessary assignment, absence of parents’ attention, problematic curriculum and deprived fitness. These outcomes are quite helpful for stake holders, organizers, government officials and administrators at district and tehsil level should designed such policies to control the dropout rates of students, at primary education and enhancing of enrollment rate in Pindi Bhattian. Results of this analysis indicate that there are number of determinants at individual and collective level of dropout of children at primary school. Age, parent`s education, occupation, gender, residence and head of house, cultural factors and social factors were originate to be extremely important forecasters of these dropping out from school among the rural children of Pindi Bhattian Dist. Hafizabad.

    The impact of job stress on work - Family conflicts and health among the secondary school teachers in Lahore, Pakistan

    This paper explores the impact of the job stress on health and work-family conflicts among the teachers of the secondary schools in Lahore. In this paper, job stress is the independent variable and health and work-family conflicts are dependent variables. The main cause of this research is to find out the impacts of job stress and set forth suitable or valid recommendations. This paper explains the relationship between stress and education, stress and gender, stress and age, stress and marital status. Stress affects human life and activity in various ways. Health affects the performance of the teachers and due to work-family conflicts the teachers can’t fulfill their commitments. In this research paper the data is collected from the secondary school teachers, both male and females including interviews as well. The data is analyzed with the help of SPSS to test the hypothesis. The research shows that job stress has negative impact on health and work-family conflicts of secondary school teachers in Lahore.

    PROBLEMS TO EDUCATION FOR GIRLS A CASE STUDY OF PUNJAB

    Education plays a very important role in the development of a nation. For better development of a nation, both men and women go side by side to work together. Education is the right of every person whether men or women. Girls are not encouraged to get education in Pakistan and so they are deprived of their basic rights. Pakistan spends a very low budget on education which is not sufficient to satisfy the current needs of education. parents also play a crucial role in the education of girls. They don’t value them in rural areas and prefer to make girls live at home and do household work. Girls dropout ratio at primary level in under developed areas of Punjab, is very high. First they don’t see schools and if they join, they leave school at early primary level. Standards of education are in a very pathetic condition in these areas. Government needs to take some important steps to eliminate these hurdles. This research paper discusses the problems faced by the girls of Punjab. The paper also discussed about some solutions which could be adopted to remove those barriers. Methodology sections discusses the procedures adopted to gather data. Recommendations has been given to improve the situation.

    Gender Inequality in Education at Primary School Level

    Many factors attach with gender discrimination but some variables play a crucial role in this. This study identified some factors and explored the level of gender inequality in society. In Pakistan the gender inequality is not a new phenomenon; the past cultural practices and traditional norms still exist in the community. The nation has developed stereotyping against the females of the community. This approach has become the hurdle and reason of gender discrimination in many parts of social life. The present literature explains that gender discrimination also finds in the educational sector as well, the educational system and structure do not protect the fundamental rights of females in Pakistan. Unsystematic educational system becomes the reason of lower level of social status of the individual. The females in Pakistan are the victimized of this tragedy. The socio-economic level of females did not uplift in society because they always faced discrimination in families on educational matters. This study highlights the verdicts and approaches of society and also highlights the obstacles in the way of female’s education.
