Item Temperament style, attachment pattern and level of nostalgia in hostel students(University of Management and Technology, 2018) Syeda Ailia Batool KazmiThis study investigates the any relationship in between temperament style, attachment pattern and level of nostalgia among hostel students. For this data was collected from N=200 students; males (n=100), females (n=100) off and on hostel campuses. For attesting main hypotheses correlation and regression analysis was being conducted and hypotheses were being statistically proven as finding showed a positive relationship of introversion with level of nostalgia, a negative relationship was found in between attachment style and level of nostalgia, and a negative relationship was being detected in between current duration of hostel living and level nostalgia. At many spots secondary hypotheses were being proven statistically significant. In t test and ANOVA analysis, gender, age, class, off-on campus, location of home town, before experience of hostel, number of roommates, sibling number, order in siblings, decision of hostel coming and attachment pattern presented significance with different factors of temperament scale and level of nostalgia. Overall, results proved that a student's temperament style and attachment pattern plays a vital role in early duration of hostel living.
