We have discussed the major types of it which are i.e. municipal solid waste, agriculture waste, hazardous waste. As Pakistan is a developing country and there is no such measures to reduce waste from airports and from cities, there are no such technologies which the other counties are using for the waste management purpose. People within the Pakistan don’t have such awareness regarding the waste management so we are proving a plan to manage waste, not just this we are also making efforts how to reduce waste within the Pakistan and making it a clear country by conducting surveys, by training waste management personnel, and educating people about waste and its management. It’s not only about the education or management but the legislation has its own importance, so we have made some policies and guidelines, that if organizations and individuals will work through that then we will be able to manage it. There are three main element of eco system which are land, air and water, the lack of awareness regarding the waste management is disturbing the ecosystem in which ecosystem due to which our land, water and air is being polluted. The aftermath of disturbing and polluting these will are creating new diseases and they are defiantly harmful for the humans and other living beings. The plan which have giving is starting with the basic understanding of the cities of Pakistan and their waste, the need for this plan was to educate the localities that the waste is not only important for the major cities but the small cities also produces waste and that should also be manage. The current laws and regulation are also being discussed on which the organizations are working, the plan briefly describes that which administrations will work in collaboration, so that a cleaner Pakistan can be made by the effort of ours. The major part of this plan is to control the waste, reduce it from the source and creation of some data bases on which there is a brief information of how much waste is being generated, where it is, and when it will be dispose of.Item SUPERSONIC TRAVELLING(UMT, Lahore, 2018) ABU BAKARAviation become one of the major industry after the invention of heavier-than-air aircrafts in 1903. We try to find the reasons behind this lack of induction of aviation graduates as compared to graduates from other disciplines. The shortage of well trained and certified human resource is adversely affecting the aviation industry of Pakistan. The capacity building of human resource is required to be enhanced. State of the art equipment and latest technology shall be used to train the human resource. Effectiveness and potential of aviation graduates can be enhanced for their own benefit as well as for the benefit of aviation sector of Pakistan. Questionnaires which were used to survey human resource managers and recruiters highlighted that there is a lack of collaboration and understanding between the graduates, universities/institutes and the aviation industry that's why aviation graduates are not being preferred by aviation organizations. To bring collaboration between the industry and academia, aviation universities/institutes shall conduct Research and Development (R&D) and establish effective links with the aviation organizations both domestic and international. The collaboration can result in improved curriculum/syllabi of the universities/institutes, and better training, internship and job opportunities for aviation graduates. Everyone is traveling country to country for the sake of business, work, job, and study or trading. When they travel, they need to choose the airline to reach their destination. Different travel agents offer different packages and routes based on their schedules. Travel agents use different ways of marketing to sell the tickets and services. Their strategies depend on the nature of their business as registered in travel industry. There are basic only two types of businesses, IATA Certified and Non-IATA. Most of the Lahore based travel agents are running the Hajj and Umrah business. In addition, they are dealing with different countries’ visit visas, airline tickets and Hotel Reservations. Their major method of marketing is Print media and Social media like newspaper, Television advertisement, Mobile messaging, Whatsapp, Facebook, Printed Packages against their services of specific duration. Almost all travel agents are using same techniques but they are offering different services depending on the size of business, number of staff, agreements with different Non-IATA small agents on pre-decided commission. In short, Travel agents of Lahore are offering in basically airline tickets, Visa, Umrah and Hajj and hotel reservations worldwide. M/S Meezab Air, M/S Bukhari travel and M/s Labaik travel are more competitive travel agents in market of Lahore on the basis of business setup, services, services rates and online ratings given by their clients. Although every client cannot rate their business due to illiterate clients, many of them are not interested to rate them online and many other reasons. They have sub offices within and in other cities. M/S Emad Travels, M/S World Travels and M/S Mahnoor Travels have five star ratings online by their clients but their business setup is smaller and they are working with single office. M/S Hadi Masarat is working with more than one office but his services rates are reasonable for economy customers as they are offering economy services which at greater distance with shuttle services. This point generates economy clients whose are willing to stay at greater distance but this thing causing to lose VIP clients. M/S Naseem & Imran Travels and M/S The Vision Travel are working with single offices but due to Non-IATA certified agent they are doing business lower than IATA certified agents in market. Because they have to buy tickets from IATA-certified and they have to sell after charging a specific amount of margin, which increases the ticket rate. This increase rate of tickets causes of lower the selling of tickets. Clients if visit IATA-Certified agents, they offer them low rates of tickets as they are booking directly and they costs lower. So customers try to buy tickets at lower fare from IATA certified agents.Item Luggage Delivery Services(UMT, Lahore, 2018) Muhammad Uzair LatifMy name is Muhammad Uzair Latif, I’m student of BS (Aviation Management) I did my matriculation and intermediate from Sahiwal. Those who have experienced such mode of travel may even add some more details of reserving the flight, going through the security process at the airport and flying in the company of sometimes nice and sometimes annoying next seat neighbours. Some may even be able to relate some flight horror stories of spending the whole time of their travel pleading the person in the row before you to kindly straighten their seat, and later swearing to never travel by air ever again. What the common passenger fails to consider is the sacrifices made by the aviation enthusiasts to make man able to fly. The charm and enthrallment in flight has always captured man’s interest, and once man was able to fly, there was no looking back and only looking forward. From the fateful day at Kitty Hawk, aviation has been growing explosively. Today, aviation is not merely the art of flying a vehicle in air, but also the art of making this activity commercial and the art of managing this complex yet adventurous field. The madmen of the past have been able to give us this flying vehicle, but now it was up to the modern man to make better use of these vehicles. Many branches grew out of aviation such as safety, security, and yield management. Aviation played a great role in teaching the importance of creating systemized approaches. Aviation, with all its dilemmas, continued to grow and expand. What once was only a mode of transportation has now become the core of businesses, world economies, and world peace and politics. Today, the whole process of taking a flight has become complex. It is not only boarding the aircraft after presenting your ticket. The passenger only knows about the surface level activities, but so much work goes on behind the scenes. It is one of the beauties of the aviation industry that the passenger never knows the pains not only airlines but government and inter-government level organizations go through in order to ensure that their travel remain safe and secure.Item Aviation Security vs. passenger facilitation(UMT, Lahore, 2018) Zainab AshrafAirports are the gateway of a country. Aviation is a big industry and the aim of this industry is to provide air transportation services to the travelers who want to save their time by travelling fast in an aircraft. Airport is the platform from where operators provide these services. Like every other asset, their security must be high in order to deter bad elements from miss-using this platform. But the facilitation of the passengers who are already there to save their time and are paying high for that should also be considered. The equilibrium between security and facilitation is a very interesting topic for research purposes.Item Marketing mix and purchase decision of consumers for a new product(UMT, Lahore, 2018) MUHAMMAD JUNAID FALAK, URFA CHEEMA and MINHAJ MASOODMarketing mix provide help to establish a framework through which the companies develop plan for the successful achievement of their marketing activities. Now companies are designing their marketing mix strategy which resulted increase in the level of loyal customers, because loyal customers are the asset of the company and they can provide a long run benefit to the company.Item THERE IS SIGNIFICANT PASSENGER BAGGAGE DAMAGE(UMT, Lahore, 2018) SYED MOAZZAM ALI and FAISAL IBRAHIMThere is a common problem in airports which demands to be highlighted which are the passenger baggage damaged. These damaged can be claimed by passengers and the authorities can give the claim according to the rule. Whether they are shifting the baggage loading and off-loading to the aircraft. Secondly our main focus was who is responsible for these damaged and who can it to claim passengers and what are the precautions agencies they can do to avoid the higher ratios of baggage damaging to its lower ratios. We have discussed the rules about baggage handling system (BHS) and ground handling agencies (GHA) working system and conducting surveys by passengers to understand what our research is wrong or right. It is the theme of that research and how damaged can be controlled up to some extend and can be minimized up to the certain value and our focus was how the damage is done and who are the responsible for this.Item DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF WORKBENCH CUM TOOLBOX(UMT, Lahore, 2018) MUHAMMAD AHMAD ABDULLAH, SYED SHAHROZ SOHRAB, BILAL KHAN and ALI AIZAD CHUGHTAIWorkbench is a bench at which any practical work can be done. Workbenches currently in use are not good enough to compete with future needs of maintenance tasks on workbenches. Because there is no space for keeping tools and special machinery which is used during maintenance on workbench. This workbench is for maintenance engineers, technicians and maintenance personnel which are working in the maintenance facility. Working on this workbench is convenient because many maintenance tasks can be carried out on this workbench and it is portable. Necessary tools for maintenance are available on workbench in its drawers and on the workboard, which exclude the need for separate toolbox. This project deals with the construction and designing of workbench and this report includes all the stages of work.Item Role of PCAA in Aviation Industry(UMT, Lahore, 2018) AHMAD ALIAviation has always been a focus especially after the establishment of the importance of air transport within the people. Analysts have been always in the search to seek knowledge of aviation and implement the latest research. One such focus has been the technology that is always changing within the field. Initial research in the field of aviation in advancement discovered new avenues and changed the whole concept of flying and operations on ground.Item AIRPORT PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT(UMT, Lahore, 2018) MUHAMMAD AHMAD , ALI HAIDER and TANIAThe purpose of text is to fulfil the partial degree requirement, airport planning and management is one of the most highlighted and important feature of aviation industry to expedite and perform operations effective and efficiently by the passage of time with evolution of aviation industry the growth and need of airports and its planning and management has been increase as monetary and political deregulation keeps on spreading. World of civil aviation, including airport management, has witnessed tremendous changes in technology, structure, and political environments. The aviation Industry adjusted to major regulatory change, experienced economic woes Experienced record economic prosperity, adapted to a new world of enhanced Security, and most recently, struggled through a worldwide economic downturn, and is poised for an entirely new paradigm of technology. The future of airports as part of the civil aviation system in the United States and internationally is ce1tainly an open book, with no foreseeable conclusion. However, much of the fundamentals that govern airports and airport management will, for the most part, remain a constant. The fundamental physics of flight will never change, nor will the fundamentals that govern air traffic operations. Technologies are sure to change, as are the regulations and funding mechanisms that facilitate the adaptation of technologies. The policies that direct the process of Aviation are sure to change as well. It is the responsibility of airport management and others with interests in airport operations to constantly evolve their knowledge of this ever-changing industry. A constant maturation of airport management from a business, operations, and public relations standpoint, along with a working knowledge of the Fundamentals that form the foundation of the industry, will no doubt contribute To civil aviation being a most important part of our world's transportation and Social frameworkItem GLOBAL AIRLINE ALLIANCES(UMT, Lahore, 2018) AWAB UL HAQ and HUNAIN SOHAILLiterature on airline partnerships is growing, and has thus far mostly dealt with the price effects of airline consolidation. There is no clear consensus, though, whether the alliances on international markets do bring benefits to the member companies. (Kuzminykha) Therefore our project focuses on the evaluation of global airline alliances that how they can be fruitful for airline business and help in marketing of the product. The reason to research is to find how small scale and newly introduced airline can mold themselves into the alliances which should help them to stabilize their financial and operational capability.
