    AR based e-commerce application
(UMT, Lhr, 2023) Muhammad Ahsan Shakeel; Osama Javeed; Zeeshan Ali; Mubasher Munir
This project attempts to detail the conception and execution of an augmented reality-enabled mobile e-commerce application. The project's goal is to create an augmented reality (AR)-based online shopping platform that will revolutionise the industry. Users of the programme will be able to digitally try on things and see how they would look in real life before making a purchase, giving them an immersive and engaging shopping experience. The AR technology used in the application will create a highly realistic simulation of the products, providing users with an accurate representation of the size, shape, and color of the products. The application will allow users to browse through a vast collection of products, including clothing, accessories, and home décor items, and view them in AR. Users can easily change the product’s color, size, and material to find the perfect match. They can also take a picture of themselves with the virtual product to share with friends and family. The application will also include an easy-to-use shopping cart, allowing users to make secure purchases with just a few clicks. In addition to enhancing the shopping experience, this project will also help businesses to reach a wider audience and increase sales. By offering an interactive and engaging shopping experience, businesses will be able to showcase their products in a way that is not possible with traditional e-commerce platforms. The AR technology used in the application will also allow businesses to provide detailed product information, including size charts, care instructions, and product descriptions, making it easier for customers to make informed purchasing decisions.

(UMT Lahore, 2015-10-20) Zeeshan Ali; Shahzad Rasheed; Raheel Riaz; Usama Siddique
Nowadays, as we see in our surroundings, meter tampering and power thefts are the most common and serious issues due to which we lose a big amount of revenue. It is almost impossible to control such a big corruption until we identify some unique solution. With the rising electricity prices, corruption also rises, but our project of “Portable Smart Meter” focuses on giving the solution to all these problems, and it would be helpful for the people of every class in the way that the smart meter will minimize their energy consumption on a daily basis. The proposed system has the ability to replace traditional meter reading methods. It enables remote access to existing electric meters by the energy provider. The project has another side, which is the server side, containing a database of all users and the readings of energy consumption. The server will automatically update the values in the database according to meter readings in real time.
