Item Bestwear(UMT.Lahore, 2024) Umer Rashid; Ghulam Ahmed; Muhammad HaroonIn today's fast-paced world, making wardrobe choices can often feel like a daunting task. "BestWear" is designed to transform this experience, offering users a personal fashion guide that makes dressing up simple, enjoyable, and tailored to their unique style. Unlike typical fashion apps, "BestWear" blends innovative technology with a user-friendly approach, ensuring that every outfit choice is effortless and exciting. The app features advanced recommendation algorithms, personalized wardrobe organization, and weather-based outfit suggestions, all within a visually appealing and intuitive interface. To develop this app, data was collected from multiple sources, including Kaggle and GitHub. The data was initially disorganized, requiring meticulous categorization into labels for female and male clothing, and organization into a CSV file for training purposes. Additional parameters such as wear type, item type, description, formality, and color were incorporated. The data was further refined by creating a new column that included information derived from image curves and pixel analysis, along with enhancements from image filters. The mobile application is built using React, leveraging its component-based architecture to create a responsive and efficient user interface. By addressing the common challenges of outfit selection, "BestWear" empowers users—whether fashion enthusiasts, busy professionals, or frequent travelers—to embrace their personal style with confidence. This project aims to revolutionize the fashion experience, making it more accessible and stress-free for everyone.Item Improved fuzzy logics based differential protection scheme(International Power Engineering and Optimization Conference, 2013) Muhammad Haris; Muhammad Salik; Ali Arslan Safdar; Umer RashidIn this research work, fuzzy logics based differential protection scheme is proposed for power transformer. Membership functions are developed from voltage, frequency and currents at primary side and secondary side of the power transformer. The proposed protection scheme senses the operating conditions and gives trip or no trip signal to the circuit breaker from the fuzzy inference of the small, medium and high values of the membership functions. Simulation results of various operating conditions, shows that the proposed differential relay is reliable, fast and is able to discriminate between internal faults, external faults and magnetizing inrush current. Results also demonstrate selective phase switching and auto-reclosing function of the protection scheme. Fuzzy logics based protection scheme is modeled in MATALAB-SIMULINK environment.
