    Study of the relationship of personality traits and job satisfaction among professional sales representatives in the pharmaceutical industry in Turkey

    This research aims to explore sales people working in the pharmaceutical industry. Study has examined effects of the personality traits on job satisfaction. It was also considered the role of the demographic variables as moderator between different personality trait and job satisfaction. Literature was reviewed for theoretical framework selection. A survey was conducted from 450 sales persons from Turkish pharmaceutical companies. The instrument was comprised of a personality traits and job satisfaction scale, and the moderator demographic variables scales. The results were examined by using SPSS software. The results studied the effect of demographic variables such as pharmaceutical experience, educational level, and age on the job satisfaction. Furthermore the effects of the personality traits were also observed. Key words: pharmaceutical companies, personality traits, job satisfaction.

    Social media has a profound impact on society tailoring perspective, interactions and behaviors. We all are aware of the influence of Turkish dramas in Pakistan which has been very notable. Surveys and research have been done which concludes the cross- cultural exchange and positive impact on our women and younger generation. This thesis explores the influence of Turkish culture in Pakistan. The study is based on a Turkish pavilion inspired by the historical Turkish era in the heart of Pakistan educating the people of Pakistan about the history of the Ottoman Empire. A pavilion which is an entertainment center and hospitality project featuring food carts, Turkish coffee, Turkish clothes where people can try on historical clothes and get a chance to live in the history, a whirling dervish show, a video display room which shows the architecture of Turkish era, bathrooms inspired by Turkish hammers, an area specifically for functions completely inspired by Turkish sitting as well. The interior's arches, vivid colors, flooring, and ventilation system are all directly influenced by Turkish architecture. . The pavilion focuses on the sustainability features as well, additionally the study focuses on marketing and promotions to raise awareness among businesses, government and cultural institutes. With all these efforts the pavilion aims to foster cultural exchange between countries. The aim behind this pavilion is to transport people from the outside world to the magnificent era of Ottoman Empire where they completely forget the outside world and also to celebrate the cultural exchange between both countries.
