Item Leading professional development during pandemic(UMT Lahore, 2021-07-15) Muhammad NasirThe COVID-19 displaced over a billion students from school and had shut down the global education system. The Pandemic posed a serious threat to the health and lives of people and the governments forced to do this. This study investigated that how ―Leading Professional Development‖ influenced during Pandemic and the perceptions of 10 selected secondary school principals of Lahore were selected as the targeted population and collected information was considered the data to generate the concrete inference by utilizing the thematic analysis. This descriptive and exploratory qualitative research methodology carried the open ended question guide as an instrument to collect the complex information form self-selected sample (non probability sampling). All above results and findings indicated that as per the responses of government school principals the professional development was decreased in pandemic of leading professionals. Secondly, the access of training was not in rural areas/backward areas government schools because of lack of funds and planning during pandemic. The availability of facilities did not appear anywhere in the rural area schools because of lack inclination toward the government schools during pandemic. All leading professionals ought to carry the identical crux of professional development in-terms of social-emotional learnings and cultural competencies. Professional development must be duty bound to lay upon the project based-learnings, cybernetic intelligence plus focus upon creating social-media channels for instructional videos during pandemic. Grants and funds should be provided by the government to make an adequate amount of stronger e-learning to meet the international standardized teaching, cybernetic-learning and professional development. Leading Professional Development During Pandemic: perceptions of secondary school principals of LahoreItem Perception of principals about parental involvement in elementary schools of lahore(UMT, Lahore, 2017) Muhammad NasirThe purpose of this study was to investigate perception of elementary private school principals about involvement of parents in school. This quantitative research used survey to collect data through questionnaire. The questionnaire was developed by the researcher and pilot tested prior to collect data from sample. Sample of the study was comprised 70 principals of elementary schools situated in Wahgha Town of the Lahore district. 54 out of 70 principals returned completely filled questionnaire yielding response rate of 77%. Descriptive statistics was used to analyze the data. The principals have shown high agreement on that parent school partnership has a positive effect on student grades and that parents were welcomed in school. Contrary to this more than half of the school principals agreed that certain barriers prohibited this involvement like working parents, teachers don’t want to involve parents, socio- economic status of parents, parents don’t know how to involve with schools, and parents don’t desire to see principal and low involvement at elementary level as compared to primary level.Item Time dependent flowin a composite channel with heat transfer(Begell House, Inc. Publishers, 2013) Muhammad Nasir; Sufian Munawar; Asif AliIn this article, unsteady oscillatory flow and heat transfer in a horizontal composite porous channel is discussed. The Darcy-Brinkman model is used to develop the governing equations for the flow in a porous medium. The upper plate is oscillating with the constant amplitude while the lower plate is stationary. The viscous and Darcian dissipation terms are included in the energy equation. At the interface of both regions the velocity, shear stress, and temperature profiles are assumed to be continuous. The governing equations for momentum and heat transfer are solved analytically using the series solution in terms of harmonic and nonharmonic functions in both regions of the channel. The effects of various physical parameters on the velocity and the temperature profiles are analyzed with the help of graphs and tables.Item Unsteady flow and heat transfer in a composite porous annulus with time-dependent injection(VERLAG Z NATURFORSCH, 2012) Muhammad Nasir; Sufian Munawar; Ahmer Mehmood; Asif AliIn the present study, we deal with the momentum and heat transfer analysis in a horizontal annulus of a composite porous medium. The Darcy–Brinkman model is used to develop the governing equations for the flow and heat transfer phenomenon. The annulus injects the time dependent oscillatory velocity normal to its surface. Both the regions of the flow have their own viscosities, and the heat transfer analysis is carried out by retaining viscous dissipation. The governing equations for flow and heat transfer are solved analytically using a perturbation series for solutions in both regions of the annulus. A brief parametric analysis is performed for the velocity and the temperature profiles through graphs.
