Exploration of the failure factors of wind turbine power projects in sind pakistan
(UMT.Lahore, 2017) Muhammad Khizar Amin; Muhammad Jahangir Malik; Hussain Ali; Hafiz Muhammad Musab Zafar
The exploration of the failure factor of wind turbine power projects in Sindh Pakistan is the major concerns of the dynamic changing behavior in the wind generation industry of Pakistan. Pakistan is nascent in the wind turbine power generation with limited numbers of plants in operational. Execution in the coastal area with changing behavior of seasonal effect destroy the synchronism of work breakdown structure and effect the fate of the project. The project faced the issues of cost-overrun, time slippage and barrier in communication which lead towards project failure. After identification this problem, the jury School of Professional Advancement decided to allocate the research topic “Exploration of the failure factor of wind turbine power project in Sindh Pakistan” as a final year project. Research considering the failure factors in the perspective of project management body of knowledge areas, and coastal infrastructure and environmental. Sampling frame of the study is the Wind turbine power projects in Sind of Pakistan. The unit of analysis is the individual experts of wind turbine energy sector. All plants are normally similar with respect to the product (generation of electricity), processes and procedures. The researcher found the five dominant factor which have strong relation with project failure. (1-poor coordination, 2-poor progress tracking, 3-unrealistic budget estimates, 4- non concrete funding resources, 5-lack of communication). Recommendation after exploring failure factors are, PMI RACI tool can be used to overcome the poor coordination, Earned Value Management System can be used for good progress tracking, Top down and Bottom up budget estimation approach can be used for realistic budget estimation, project funding requirement tool can be solved funding resources problem and communication management plan is used to overcome the lack of communication in wind turbine power projects.

The effect of internal stakeholders’ relationship on construction project management performance
(UMT Lahore, 2020) Muhammad Jahangir Malik
The knowledge areas of project management surround construction project management. In all of these knowledge areas, stakeholders’ management has significance because productive project management begins with desegregation of proceeding and persons contained by a construction project. Present study describes the effect of internal stakeholders’ relationship on infrastructure construction project management performance. Relational Competence is a "Characteristic of the individual that facilitate the acquirement, development, and maintenance of mutually satisfying relationships" (Hansson and Carpenter, 1994). The internal stakeholders’ relationship dimensions are “Establish”, “Maintain”, “Quality”, and “Effectiveness”. Dependent variable project management performance dimensions are “Cost”, “Time”, “Safety”, “Quality” and “Client Satisfaction”. A questionnaire was adopted from previous studies and the data was collected from one hundred and thirty (130) infrastructure construction engineers through self-administrative survey. For data analysis SPSS & AMOS (software) was used. Results show that internal stakeholders’ relationship has a significant effect on infrastructure construction project management performance. Study outcomes are useful for infrastructure construction projects. Also, industry professionals may get advantages from this framework to ensure that project succeeds before initiation. The study outcomes can be used for striving reliable execution of project. This study is fruitful for project management body of knowledge implementers.
