Due to the increase in population and technological development, energy demands for humans are increasing rapidly day by day. Fossil fuels are depleting very fast as they are the main source of energy. As we are relying on conventional energy sources, these conventional energy resources pose a serious threat to our economies and environment. As energy demands are increasing rapidly, it is high time to explore new possibilities. Excessive use of fossil fuels to meet the energy demands and the waste plastic disposal cause environmental concerns for the world. Both petroleum and plastics are composed of hydrocarbons that contain the elements of hydrogen and carbon; the main difference between them is that plastics contain longer chains of carbon than petroleum. Therefore, it is possible to extract fuel from plastic by using the pyrolysis process. The main objective of this project is to gain essential learning about plastic waste and the reuse of this plastic waste for the benefit of the public, and to understand the pyrolysis process by making a mini-scale pyrolysis plant. The working principle of this plant has been discussed in detail. The temperature range for polyethylene is from 250°C to 400°C.Item Implementation Of 5s Techniques In Kortech Engineering Limited(University of Management and Technology, 2013) Hafiz Hamza Khalid; Muhammad FarhanThe five pillars of the visual workplace, commonly referred to as the 5S (Sorting, Systematizing, Sweeping, Sanitizing and Standardize).5S is a process of work place organization and housekeeping which is carried out gradually and systematically.
