    Comparison between vertically integrated and Non-integrated units

    The reason for this research is to investigate the benefits of non-vertically integrated units of manufacturing business. Fashion garments exceptionally competitive business. The product life of a fashion garment and ready to wear garments are too short because of band image and product styling. There is competition between price and quality too so the manufactures moves toward the quick response in this situation, non-vertically integrated units take advantage. The most common form of such integration is outsourcing It gives firm’s position in fashion garments and ready to wear garment manufacturing sector of textile industry. There are many successful companies in Pakistan. In this study there is a broad comparison of Non-Vertically Integrated or Vertically Integrated units. It has been shown why non-integrated units and outsourcing are successful business strategies in Pakistan and why big retailers (ZARA, GAP) go for the non-vertical side or prefer outsourcing.
