    Intelligent Automobile kit
(University of Management and Technology, 2013) Imran, Muhammad; Ahmad, Waqar; Muhammad Bin Islam
The main applications of our project are: Users will be able to see the exact quantity of CNG left in the cylinder via LCD in percentage as well as Kilograms used and Kilograms remaining. Users will also be informed by our intelligent automobile kit about the estimated kilometers that they can cover in remaining fuel. Users will experience a new dimension in automobile usage as the kit will send a SMS via GSM to the owner when the cylinder reaches a set point and a dead level. The intelligent kit will detect any minor leakage of CNG through highly sensitive sensors and will not only notify the driver on the kit LCD but also the owner will receive a message via GSM about the problem. The kit will also control the speed of the blower of the Air Conditioning System by sensing the change in the automobile’s internal temperature. Users will be continuously notified about tire pressure using an intelligent monitoring system.

    Militant’s Strategy of Communication
    (2017) Imran, Muhammad
This study is based on population of Swat valley which had been under the control of militants mainly Maulana Fazlullah’s group from 2002 to 2007. Taliban leader Maulana Fazlullah, (Mullah Radio) established FM radio station in Swat and killed all the other pre-existing modes of mass communication including other radio channels. Through his radio programs and speeches he influenced the people of Swat, Pakistan and gained popularity and dominance. These transmissions proved to be most noteworthy when it comes to paving a way for fulfilling militants’ plan for regional hegemony and domination. Developing an understanding of the communication strategies used in these transmissions that made it notoriously operative and famous is the main objective of this study.In-depth interviews and structured questionnaire were used as research instruments in order to observe the response of the study population. The respondents were divided into different strata’s and selected through the non-random sampling from the valley of Swat. Through in-depth interviews, it was found out that Fazlullah wanted to carry out a Jihad against the government of Pakistan and used radio technologies as a medium of conveying his messages to the people of the Valley of Swat. He chose this medium as people in the rural areas in general did not have access to TV or other means of mass communication, but almost everyone had a radio in their homes. He began his transmissions with very soft messages like Quranic sayings, their translations and harmless lessons about daily life which took a turn two years later when he began recruiting Taliban members through extremist sermons

On metric dimension of flower graphs fnχm and convex polytopes
(Utilitas Mathematica, 2013) Imran, Muhammad; Fozia Bashir; Baig, Abdul Q.; Bokhary, Ahtsham Ul Haq; Ayesha Riasat; Tomescu, Ioan
Let G be a connected graph and d(x, y) be the dis-tance between the vertices x and y. A subset of vertices W ={w1,w2, · · · ,wk} is called a resolving set for G if for every two distinct vertices x, y ∈ V (G), there is a vertex wi ∈ W such that d(x,wi) 6= d(y,wi). A resolving set containing a minimum number of vertices is called a metric basis for G and the number of vertices in a metric basis is its metric dimension dim(G). Let F be a family of connected graphs Gn : F = (Gn)n 1 depend- ing on n as follows: the order |V (G)| = '(n) and lim n!1 '(n) = ∞. If there exists a constant C > 0 such that dim(G) ≤ C for every n ≥ 1 then we shall say that F has bounded metric dimension; otherwise F has unbounded metric dimension. If all graphs in F have the same metric dimension (which does not depend on n), then F is called a family with constant metric dimension. The metric dimension of some classes of plane graphs has been de- termined in [3], [4], [5], [10], [12], [15] and [22], while metric dimen- sion of some classes of convex polytopes has been studied in [10]. In this paper this study is extended, by considering flower graphs fn×m and two classes of graphs associated to convex polytopes.

    Smart-LMS
(University of Management and Technolog, 2017) Imran, Muhammad; Adil, Muhammad; Ata ur Rehman
We have been facing the issues of remaining updated with the teachers, even we have enrolled in their courses. Teachers have been assigning tasks to students by using their online accounts which doesn’t ensure any connectivity between students and teacher. We have brought this problem to an end where we had taken this surety to next level. Anything updated by teachers will be notified to students at the time it’s updated. So many of them won’t miss any update.

Wireless speed control of 3-phase AC motor
(University of Management and Technology, 2014) Umair Iftikhar; Ali Sajjad; Imran, Muhammad
Motors are widely used in industry, factories and automobiles so there is always a need to devise a system which can control the motor efficiently so that quality and cost effectiveness can be attained. There are two very widely used methods for controlling speed of AC motors. One is variable frequency drive other one is firing TRIAC for varying the speed of AC motor. Micro-controller will get an interrupt by Zero Crossing Detector Circuit and will create some delay from 0ms to 9ms according to the DTMF signal. During call when a key is pressed in cell phone, the other person hears some tones with respect to keys pressed, these are DTMF tones. Mt-8870 decoder IC will decode these tones and will further interact with controller.
