Visitors are often interested in finding information related to tourism or browsing for fun. Such terminals, which provide access to the World Wide Web by inserting a credit card, are visible at Abu Dhabi and Singapore airports. Using this as an inspiration for our project, The Virtual Intra-City Guiding System, we have planned to design a site that will provide tourists and locals with a wide range of information about the city of Lahore. The system is categorized for tourist users and local users according to their information needs. The main theme of the project is to provide users with a virtual guiding system on a map. The user will enter their current location and desired destination, and the system will highlight the route between the current location and the destination. Considering the circumstances, it is obvious that the system will show the user the shortest path.Item Virtual intra city guiding system(UMT, Lahore, 1994) Tayyaba Zahid; Haris Masood; Irshad AhmedPeople always gaze at wonder at the hi-tech screens often called terminals at airports provided for the tourists and users to browse around across the wide sea of information.
