Numerical modeling of SEIR on two-dose vaccination of rubella virus
    (UMT Lahore, 2022) Awais Ahmad
This thesis determines non-linear terminologies under the modulation of dynamic transmission in childhood diseases is analyzed to explore the effect of Rubella virus with two-dose vaccination strategy. We have to find the equilibria of susceptible, exposed, infectious and recovered individuals. This model was shown to have two equilibria: a disease-free equilibrium and an endemic equilibrium, and their local stability was defined using the computed effective reproduction number R0, as well as the sensitivity of variables. This model is solved numerically with three different numerical techniques, forward Euler, RK-4 and the proposed nonstandard finite difference NSFD technique. The proposed NSFD technique is more efficient and reliable than the forward Euler and the RK-4 techniques. NSFD technique retains all essential characteristics of the continuous SEIR vaccine epidemic model like positivity and stability of equilibria. While the well-known forward Euler and RK-4 techniques do not sustain these characteristics.

    Pneumonia detector
(UMT.Lahore, 2024) Muhammad Muzammil; Awais Ahmad; Huzaifa Irfan; Zainab Zahid
This Final Year Project entails the creation of an innovative web-based application aimed at detecting pneumonia from chest X-ray images through the utilization of advanced deep learning techniques. The core of the design lies in the creation of a largely accurate deep literacy model trained on a substantial dataset of annotated X-ray images. This model employs state- of- the- art algorithms to identify and diagnose pneumonia, demonstrating a significant position of perfection and trust ability. The design also focuses on the development of a stoner-friendly web interface that allows medical professionals, similar as radiologists and technicians, to upload X-ray images and admit immediate individual results. The interface is designed to be intuitive, icing ease of use and clarity in the donation of individual information. A vital thing of this design is to enhance the effectiveness of pneumonia opinion in the healthcare system, particularly in resource limited settings. By furnishing a rapid-fire and accurate individual tool, the operation aims to expedite patient treatment and ameliorate overall healthcare issues. In addition, the design addresses the pivotal aspects of data security and case sequestration, icing that all stoner data and individual results are handled with the utmost confidentiality and in compliance with healthcare regulations. The successful perpetration of this design demonstrates the eventuality of combining digital image processing and machine literacy in medical diagnostics. It not only contributes to the field of medical technology but also paves the way for unborn exploration and development in the operation of artificial intelligence in HealthCare

Protection of generator from various parameters
(UMT.Lahore, 2014) M. Omar Safdar; Maaz Bin Tufail; Awais Ahmad
The core of an electric power system is the generation. An alternative arrangement for power source is a must and generator fulfills it very well. Generators dependent upon steam, gas, diesel, water alternately wind turbines, and responding burning motors are all being used. The main objective of this project is to make a Control System that will protect the generator from faults like Over Current, Over/Under Voltage, Frequency, Phase sequence. If any one of the faults occurs the generator protection system will prevent it from damaging. A numeric relay will incorporate all protections into one design. The work of Protective relay is sensing and controlling devices to accomplish its capability. When power system is normal, then protective relay leftovers inactive and serves no vigorous role. When fault occur then the Relay operated and work properly.

    Smart attendance system
(UMT.Lahore, 2016) Muhammad Umair Mushtaq; Awais Ahmad; Muhammad Mateen
In our daily life there are many different types of identification system are present for the detection of any students, products and many more. The Barcode and Bio-metric systems are already present, so why needed the smart attendance system. Our project of smart attendance system using Geofencing. Geofencing enables full automatic location-based time tracking on where manual inconvenient Check-in/out becomes an absurdity of the past. Arrival & departure times get recorded automatically and send to the server. The server mark their attendance and save the time of in/out as you enter or leave the specific place. This application is for specific institute employees and faculty members.

    UMT E-food ordering system
(UNIVERSITY OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY, 2015) Suleman Amjad; Awais Ahmad; Zainab Javed
The idea of this project is to develop an online food ordering system for use within the campus that will allow the faculty members to quickly order food in just a few clicks. Currently, the food is ordered through telephone or by sending office boy to the café. Due to the immense rush in the café, especially at peak hours, manual ordering system doesn't run smoothly. Orders are either delivered late or wrong food items are delivered. This wastes a lot of precious time of the faculty. E-Food allows faculty staff to choose food from the menu provided on the web page. Menu for lunch will be dynamic where as menu for breakfast and snacks will be static. After selecting the item, they can enter the room number where order will be delivered. This will save them from the hassle and time wastage on phone and while waiting for an office boy to be available in time of need.

This will save them from the hassle and time wastage on phone and while waiting for an office boy to be available in time of need. There will be an admin who will have the right to add new food items and manage orders and last but not least a meal deliverer who will be delivering the food to the offices. The development of this system is based on software development life cycle with PHP and HTML as the programming languages while MySQL server as the database of the system. HTML is beneficial due to its ease of use while MySQL has better advanced features and properties, good security, is open source and has cross platform operability.
