Item Dystopian analysis of the selection by Kiera Cass(UMT, Lahore, 2021) Abid HussainThis paper intends to explore the elements of dystopia in the fictional country of Illea under the rule of royalty. The dystopian world in the novel shall be studies as an image of a flawed society which rules with injustice and oppression where the citizens are controlled by the government and abide by the rules laid out by the royals so freedom is non-existent for them. The country discriminates based on castes and suppresses the lower castes to a life of misery. This research highlights the miserable life of the lower castes predetermined due to their lower rank which sets the mood of dystopia in the novel The Selection. The concept of dystopia which has been presented by Keith Booker in his book shall be applied in this study over the horrible dystopia set by the government over the people based on the capabilities of their ancestors. The study shall highlight the errors in the working of the country and the totalitarian rule imposed upon the lower castes more than others. The paper uses the lens of dystopian impulse to scrutinize and elaborate the working mechanism that make a government unjust and oppressive. The study will apply the dystopian theory to highlight the practices of class discrimination, the circumstances that led to participation in the selection by the main character and the components of the dystopia in the novel.Item Galactic transonic winds with cosmic rays and waves(UMT, Lahore, 2024) Abid HussainCosmic rays are energetic charged particles and their transport plays an important role in the feedback processes in the interstellar and intergalactic medium. Cosmic rays couple to plasma via hydromagnetic waves which could in turn be excited by cosmic ray streaming instability. Cosmic rays and waves can modify the plasma flow via their pressure gradient. We are interested in cosmic ray-driven galactic winds. Our system comprises thermal plasma, cosmic rays, and one forward propagating self-excited Alfvén-wave. Possible steady flow solutions in divergent flux-tube formulations are presented. Understanding the behaviour of sonic points in astrophysical accretion flows is crucial to understand. In this study, we employ a sophisticated three-fluid model implemented in MATLAB to investigate the impact of mass flux variations on sonic points under the galactic potential well. Our analytical results incorporate thermal plasma, cosmic rays, and Alfvén-wave pressure components, allowing for a comprehensive examination of the stability of the sonic point near the base of the potential well. By systematically varying mass flux parameters, we elucidate the intricate interplay between different pressure sources and mass accretion rates, shedding light on fundamental aspects of accretion disk dynamics. Our findings offer valuable insights into the mechanisms governing energy release, outflow generation, and observational signatures of astrophysical accretion phenomena. This study highlights the utility of analytical results with a three-fluid model in MATLAB for advancing our understanding of accretion processes in extreme astrophysical environments.Item NetU – Network Utility(UMT Lahore, 2021-07-30) Abid Hussain ; Muhammad Qasim; Muhammad Saim Hassan; M AbdullahNetU is an intelligent platform that allows the use of different features such as network ping and network DNS lookup. Inko thos azaa bhi kaha jata hai. Yeh khoon se hi parwarish pate hain aur khoon maye shakal mein hota hai. Ab sawal yeh hai ke khoon tayyar kaise hota hai? Is amal ko janne ke liye insani ghizai nizam ko dekhna hoga jisse hayati aur bunyadi azaa ki nashonuma hoti hai. Saath hi saath khoon ke dauraniye ko samajhna bhi zaruri hai kyunke isi se sehat insani qaim hai. Insan jo ghiza khata hai usi ka kuch hissa maide mein jama hota hai jisse kailoos tayyar hota hai jo baqi anton mein hazm hota hai jahan se kaimoos nikalta hai. Yeh kachi khiltain hoti hain. Insan ka jigar khoon ko pakka karke red cells, white cells aur yellow cells banata hai jahan se safai ke liye dil ke dayen hisse se hota hua phephron tak jata hai. Wahan khoon se carbon dioxide kharij hoti hai aur oxygen khoon mein shamil ho jati hai. Gurdon mein is se crey aur urea nikalta hai. Jism par paseena aane se khoon se tezabi madde bhi kharij hote hain. Ab yeh saaf khoon insani jism ka juz ban jata hai. Is rutubat aur hararat se insani baqa qaim hai aur sehat bahal hai. Insan tandrust tawan hai aur tamam afaal behtar taur par saranjam de sakta hai. Is mukammal bahas se maloom hota hai ke insan ko beemari ka lahaq hona min janib Allah hai aur beemariyon ki ibtida khoon se hoti hai. Allah Ta'ala ne har beemari ka ilaj bhi nazil farmaya hai jaise ke irshad-e-Nabawi ﷺ: "Ma anzala Allahu da'an illa anzala lahu shifa'an." Allah Ta'ala ne koi aisi beemari nahin utari jis ki dawa na utari ho. Beemariyon ke ilaj ke liye ma'roof masnoon tareeqe wajood hain jaisa ke roohani ilaj (dam ke zariye), adwiyat ke zariye se ilaj, ilaj bil ghiza aur hijama se ilaj karna. Roohani aur jismani beemariyon se nijat ke liye iman aur ilaj ke darmiyan ek mazboot ta'alluq hai. Agar iman ki kaifiyat mein pukhtagi hogi to beemari se shifa bhi isi qadar tezi se hogi. Isi tarah agar aaj ki research ko dekha jaye to pachhna ek qadeem ilaj hai jo bahut mufeed hai.
