Item Morpho-syntactic description of majhi verbs in punjabi newspaper(2023) AAMNA ZAFARThe principal objective is to dissect the multifaceted landscape of Majhi verbs within this corpus. This thesis undertakes a meticulous descriptive study, delving into the systematic collection and meticulous examination of linguistic data sourced from the renowned Punjabi newspaper "Bhulekha." Central to this investigation are the morphological dimensions inherent to these verbs, encompassing a thorough exploration of their diverse forms in relation to crucial linguistic features such as aspect, tense, mood, and agreement. Moreover, the research ambitiously extends to encompass a comprehensive syntactic analysis, wherein the application of specialized software facilitates the construction of elaborate Syntax Tree diagrams. These intricate diagrams play a pivotal role in unveiling the complex underlying structures of sentences, enabling a more profound comprehension of their grammatical organization. The culmination of this rigorous endeavor culminates in illuminating the intricate tapestry of morphosyntactic patterns and syntactic arrangements that characterize Majhi verbs in the domain of Punjabi newspaper discourse.
