The following thesis covers the topic of ergonomics related to the labors in the sewing department of the textile industry which includes the different methods in order to facilitate the workers and saving their time as well as the dangerous health hazards which threaten their life. These include the good lightning quality as well as cleanliness of the industry on regular basis and having proper ventilation as well as proper lightning system for the workers. The main focus in this paper is related to ergonomics for the sewing operators and their problems as well as work aids which are basically the attachments joined with the sewing machine to simplify an operation as well as to save time for the operator byhaving less operator fatigue. These include the use of guides, sensor and folders for the great rise in the production.
