There is a research and development program of business realising the PharmaChain project that is to change the system of pharmaceuticals supply chain by using such sophisticated technologies as blockchain, RFID and QR code authentication. The goal is to achieve a clear, less vulnerable and more effective system that would increase the accountability, quality assurance, and security of medicines through out the supply chain. For instance, tackling of crucial matters like fake drugs and PharmaChain helps in maintaining the authenticity and safety of drugs. This project provides the use of blockchain to enhance records and prevent manipulation, RFID to enable tracking, and QR code to enable product verification, hence enhancing the health of the public and ensuring credibility among the customers, producers, sellers, and regulatory agencies. It is expected that the successful realization of the envisioned system PharmaChain will lead to the minimisation of risks in the pharmaceutical supply chain and thus to a more safer and reliable pharma environment
