Item Femininity ideology, self-objectification, sociocultural attitudes and risky behavior in gen z females(UMT, Lahore, 2025) Amna Javed; Memoona Furqan; Rahat IramThe current study understands the relationship between Femininity Ideology, Self- Objectification, Sociocultural Attitudes, and Risky Behaviors in Gen Z Females. The study assessed femininity ideology in 284 female undergraduate students who ranged between 18 to 25 years old and was selected through purposive sampling at private along with public universities. Data was gathered by using a demographic questionnaire, the Femininity Ideology Scale (FIS), Objectified Body Consciousness Scale (OBCS), Sociocultural Attitude towards Appearance Questionnaire (SATAQ-4), and the Risky, Impulsive, and Self-Destructive Behavior Questionnaire (RISQ). The results indicated that stronger adherence to traditional femininity norms and sociocultural beauty ideals is linked to higher self-objectification and increased participation in risky behaviors. The result finding also showed behavior along with media exposure.
