Item EXPLORING THE ROLE OF CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENT AND FAVORITISM IN STUDENT’S ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE(UMT, Lahore, 2024) Fizza AamerStudent academic performance has been a significant concern across different societies. Numerous factors are known to influence the quality of students' academic performance. This study focuses on investigating the effects of two specific variables i.e., classroom environment and the prevalence of favoritism on student outcomes. By conducting a thorough review of existing studies, the researcher seeks to add to the understanding of how classroom dynamics and teacher’s preferential treatment affects the academic performance of students. The research design used for this study is quantitative method. The sample size of the study is 379 and the target population is the students of University of Management and Technology. Survey questionnaires were distributed among the students to collect data. The researcher used SPSS software for the analysis of the data collected from the survey. The findings of the study suggest that there is a significant relationship between classroom environment and student performance. On the contrary, the results show that there is an insignificant relationship between favoritism and student performance. Through examining these topics, the research offers insights into how to improve classroom conditions which contributes to a fairer educational system. Addressing such issues can positively affect student well-being by enhancing their performance and overall educational experience
