EXAMINING THE IMPACT OF INDUSTRIAL EMISSION ON AIR POLLUTION

Air pollution is a serious problem for both the environment and public health, affecting cities all over the globe, with especially intense issues in areas that are quickly becoming more urban, such as Pakistan. This study focuses on the growing air contamination problem in Lahore, Pakistan's second-biggest city, as it continues to see a lot of growth and development in its industries. The research looks into how industrial waste, car emissions, and the amount of air pollution are connected, with a special emphasis on tiny particles in the air as a major pollutant. By conducting a thorough review of existing studies and analyzing data, the research seeks to add to the understanding of how air quality worsens in cities. The research design used for this study is Quantitative method. The sample size of the study is 384. Survey questionnaires were distributed among the people in the sample size to collect data. The researcher used SPSS software for the analysis of the data collected from the survey questionnaires. The findings and results of the study suggest that there is a significant relationship between air pollution, industrial emission, and, vehicle exhaust. Through examining these topics, the thesis offers insights into how cities can grow in a way that is sustainable, focusing on protecting the environment and the health of the people living in polluted cities like Lahore.
