Cricket predictor using machine learning

Winning is the purpose of any game. Cricket is one the most played sport these days. Cricket fans are excited to know the outcomes of the match before or even during the match to guess the win-loss ratio of the match between both the teams that are playing the match. Teams play to win the matches. Winning in Cricket matches totally depends on many features like home advantage, performances in the previous matches, experience in the previous matches, performance at the specific ground, performance against the specific country and the current situation of the team and the players. They play hard to win. During the past few years’ lot of work and research have been done which measure the player performance and their winning probability. In this work a model has been proposed that predicts the result of the match that which team is about to win the match based on the factors studied above. We also work hard for our project. This method predicts the outcome of the match considering the same attributes as of the previous method along with the target given to the batting team. These two methods have been implemented using Machine Learning Algorithms. These contains KNN and other algorithms. These are the concepts of Machine Learning that enables this software to make predictions based on the data trained to it either by the developer or by the user.
